The Robinsons Rugby is a compact Victorian‑style dwarf‑wall greenhouse that delivers the same exceptional engineering and period detailing found across the wider Robinsons range. Its traditional 45° roof pitch creates a bright, airy interior with excellent light transmission and surprising headroom for a smaller footprint. Cast‑aluminium Victorian spandrels at the eaves and ridge add both rigidity and heritage character, giving the structure a refined, timeless presence in the garden.
Built using Robinsons’ extra‑strong box‑section aluminium glazing bars and 4mm toughened safety glass, the Rugby offers outstanding durability and stability, even in exposed locations. Full‑length screw‑in glazing capping secures the glass cleanly and securely, providing superior wind resistance and a crisp, refined finish. The dwarf wall format enhances insulation, adds a sense of permanence, and creates a beautifully proportioned Victorian profile.
Despite its modest size, the Rugby includes the practical features gardeners rely on: automatic roof vents, louvre side vents, Victorian‑style guttering, and a hinged single door with a low threshold for easy access. Installation & Base
Installation services are available via Bourne Buildings in some locations
Robinsons greenhouses need to be placed on a flat, level, compact (firm) base, with paving slabs or concrete being the best options. The base should be the same size as the building itself*, level (with no drainage slope) with 2 inches above ground level to avoid surface water running underneath.
Robinsons Greenhouses can sit on either a solid paving or concrete base as described above, or on concrete strip footing. Dwarf wall models will require a suitable dwarf wall to be constructed – Exact measurements will be supplied once you have placed an order.
Clearance – We recommend at least 18” clearance all round for installation, airflow, and future maintenance. Victorian models: Please allow 24” clearance all round. Please speak with a staff member if you have less clearance.
*Bases can be larger than the building if required by the customer but must not be any smaller.
