Robinsons Rolleston Lean‑To Greenhouse – 12’8″ Wide
The Robinsons Rolleston is an elegant three‑quarter‑span, T-shaped Victorian lean‑to designed to sit beautifully against a garden wall while offering the height, strength and heritage styling of a true Robinsons greenhouse. Its generous 45° roof pitch creates superb internal height and excellent light transmission, giving specimen plants, vines and tall crops the space they need to flourish. Cast‑aluminium gothic‑style spandrels at the eaves and ridge reinforce the structure and enhance its traditional character.
Engineered with Robinsons’ extra‑strong box‑section aluminium frame and 4mm toughened safety glass, the Rolleston delivers outstanding rigidity and long‑term durability, even in exposed locations. Practical features come as standard, including automatic roof vents, louvre side vents, extra‑wide Victorian‑style guttering, and a wide, low‑threshold hinged door for easy access. The elevated rear gutter height allows the structure to pass neatly over a doorway, making it ideal for walled gardens and courtyard settings.
Available in a choice of heritage colours and in both glass‑to‑ground and dwarf‑wall formats, the Rolleston can be tailored to suit a wide range of garden styles. Installation & Base
Installation services are available via Bourne Buildings in some locations
Robinsons greenhouses need to be placed on a flat, level, compact (firm) base, with paving slabs or concrete being the best options. The base should be the same size as the building itself*, level (with no drainage slope) with 2 inches above ground level to avoid surface water running underneath.
Robinsons Greenhouses can sit on either a solid paving or concrete base as described above, or on concrete strip footing. Dwarf wall models will require a suitable dwarf wall to be constructed – Exact measurements will be supplied once you have placed an order.
Clearance – We recommend at least 18” clearance all round for installation, airflow, and future maintenance. Victorian models: Please allow 24” clearance all round. Please speak with a staff member if you have less clearance.
