Robinsons Regatta Greenhouse – 5’5″ Wide
The Robinsons Regatta is one of the most compact models in the Robinsons range, yet it carries all the hallmark engineering and refinement that define the brand. Its 5ft 5″‑wide footprint makes it ideal for smaller gardens, courtyards and tight spaces, while still offering a bright, practical interior with excellent light transmission and comfortable working height. Despite its modest size, the Regatta feels reassuringly solid thanks to its extra‑strong aluminium frame, which uses at least twice the metal of most other makes for outstanding rigidity and long‑term durability.
Glazed with full‑sheet 4mm toughened safety glass, the Regatta uses Robinsons’ full‑length screw‑in PVC bar capping to secure each pane cleanly and securely. This system provides superior wind resistance, eliminates the rattling associated with clip‑in glazing, and gives the greenhouse a crisp, refined finish. Stainless‑steel fixings, kick panels, and a powder‑coated finish complete the premium specification.
Practical features come as standard, including a sliding door with a low‑threshold entrance, automatic roof vent, louvre vent, and guttering with downpipes for efficient rainwater capture. The compact footprint makes the Regatta easy to position, while still offering enough internal space for staging, potting and productive growing.

Installation & Base
Installation services are available via Bourne Buildings in some locations
Robinsons greenhouses need to be placed on a flat, level, compact (firm) base, with paving slabs or concrete being the best options. The base should be the same size as the building itself*, level (with no drainage slope) with 2 inches above ground level to avoid surface water running underneath.
Robinsons Greenhouses can sit on either a solid paving or concrete base as described above, or on concrete strip footing. Dwarf wall models will require a suitable dwarf wall to be constructed – Exact measurements will be supplied once you have placed an order.
Clearance – We recommend at least 18” clearance all round for installation, airflow, and future maintenance. Victorian models: Please allow 24” clearance all round. Please speak with a staff member if you have less clearance.
*Bases can be larger than the building if required by the customer but must not be any smaller.
